After many prototypes, I am very happy with the finish design.  The framing is Scandinavian redwood, sourced from a certified supplier and the polycarbonate sourced from a third and final supplier. Finding the right grade has been key and the result is a high quality handcrafted product. 
 
Top opening with easy slide lid.(Top and front openings are an option at an extra cost.) It can be like a puzzle to open, due to the symmetrical design. My kids have no idea and that is a safety bonus, all of my ideas and designs have them in mind. Magnets are optional on request. Warning, unless you take your time, they do create a mini bang when closing the lid.
 
Ventilation is custom and tailored to your Tarantula's needs. State the type, ie. Arboreal or fossorial. Due to the high grade of polycarbonate, DIY versions will be available soon and a step by step tutorial.
 
Stacking, due to the rigid redwood frame and design. Arachne's stack effortlessly and are snuggly secured by locking into place as pictured.
